3 Things You Should Never Tell Anybody

Things You Should Never Tell Anybody

After turning 39 years of age on August 16th 2025, I now realized how revealing too much information about yourself can be costly and even dangerous.

I want to share my list of things you should never tell anybody (after 35) because people nowadays are envious, jealous, and greedy.

You are better off sticking to yourself than revealing too much about your personal life.

What exactly should you avoid telling to others?

1. How Much Money You Make

Honestly, telling other people how much money you make doesn't benefit you at all unless you plan to sell some sort of product or service teaching people how to make money doing XYZ.

2. How Much Bitcoin You Own

As a Bitcoiner, people often ask how much BTC I have to figure out if I'm rich or not. Telling people you own crypto doesn't change much because most people have no idea what Bitcoin even is. If you reveal too much, you could set yourself up to be robbed, arrested, or targeted for your Bitcoin holdings.

3. Don't Share Family Issues

Sharing family issues with friends and coworkers seems harmless but you are opening yourself up to be attacked in the future. Anything you say about your family could be used against you in the future as a form of gaslighting.

It's best to keep family issues private and consult a professional psychiatrist if you need someone to vent your family problems with. Close friends will judge you while your coworkers may share your private business within your workplace.
