How to Get 1,000 Subscribers on Youtube

I've successfully built 3 Youtube channels that gained over 1k subscribers since I started my Youtube journey in 2009.

The 1k subscriber milestone is an important benchmark in your Youtube career. Most Youtube channels never get over 1k subscribers plus you cannot join the Youtube Partner Program unless you reach this milestone.

If you're struggling to hit 1k Youtube subscribers then try these tips to speed up the process.

Upload Youtube videos on a consistent basis

It's hard to attract subscribers on Youtube if you aren't uploading consistently. Create a content schedule and stick to it. Some people recommend uploading daily but that can lead to burnout.

You only want to upload whenever you can provide valuable content that educates or entertains your viewers.

Mr Beast, the world's most popular Youtuber, uploads every 2 weeks on his main channel. He invests a lot of money in his videos so he doesn't stick to a daily or weekly content schedule.

Yet, he remains consistent and provides 2 high quality videos every month on his channel.

Be consistent!

Target popular keywords in your niche that will attract viewers searching for your content

Many Youtube gurus recommend making viral videos on popular topics but those videos tend to lose traction quickly and don't contribute to long term subscribers.

I noticed that focusing on Youtube searchers is a far better way to get more subscribers fast.

I use Youtube keyword tools such as TubeBuddy, KeywordTool.io, and SEMrush to find video topic ideas.

You can also use the Youtube suggestion tool for free to find good keywords to target.

Ask your viewers to subscribe during key parts of your video (3 minutes into the video and at the end)

Asking for a sub is something that a lot of Youtubers miss (including myself sometimes). I normally don't ask for a sub at the beginning of a video but instead wait a few minutes into the video to ask.

I always end the video by asking the viewer to subscribe because it's a great time to provide a call to action once your viewer reaches the end.

Don't forget to add the clickable Youtube watermark in the right corner of your video to get more desktop subscribers.

Upload longer videos to build a deeper connection with your audience and attract more loyal subscribers

My shorter videos of around 10 minutes get the most views but my longer videos (20+ minutes) get the most subscribers.

Experiment with longer videos if you want to add more subscribers quickly. Longer videos give you more time to provide value and build a deeper connection with your audience.
