5 Reasons Why Nobody Wants to Work Anymore

It seems nobody wants to work anymore these days. Inflation is up while average salaries have remained flat.
The biggest reason why nobody wants to work anymore is CORPORATE GREED!
The Average American can no longer support a wife and children on 1 salary. Heck, most people are struggling to take care of themselves.
I can only imagine how bad it must be in 2nd and 3rd tier countries where the average salary is much lower.
Why Nobody Wants to Work Anymore
Here's the truth why nobody wants to work and you won't find it on NY Times or Washington Post!
1. The Average CEO Makes 290x as much as the Average Employee
The Economic Policy Institute published a study on CEO pay that showed the rise in average CEO pay compared to most employees over the past 50 years.
In the 1960's, the average CEO earned 20x as much as the average employee.
Now in 2025, that number has ballooned to 290x as much!

Corporate greed is out of control. Employees are working longer and harder than ever to make their bosses rich and will never receive a dime in extra compensation.
It's the #1 reason why so many Millenials and Generation Z adults have permanently checked out of the workforce.
There is no reason why a CEO should earn 290x as much as his loyal employee.
Corporate greed is out of control!
2. The Average salary hasn't kept up with cost of living
Cost of living is out of control while salaries haven't adjusted accordingly.
Mortgage/rent, food, child care costs, entertainment, and even dating has gotten extremely expensive over the last 5 years.
According to Zillow, the Average Washington DC rent for an apartment is $2,200 per month.
However, the average DC minimum wage is $17.50!
If you work 160 standard hours per month then you'll only earn $2,800. That's you before tax pay. Subtract taxes and you'll be left with around $2,300 take home pay.
If your apartment costs $2,200 per month then you have only $100 to live on for the rest of the month.
How can you pay for electricity, gas, heat, food, entertainment, clothing, and medical needs with only $100 left?
It's impossible so why bother?
3. Americans are having fewer children
Most people work jobs they hate to provide for their children. My grandfather spent 40 years working in a dirty factory to take care of his wife and 5 kids.
The rich elite don't understand that most adults only work hard to support their families. They aren't motivated by a raise or corporate success. They want to feed their kids and keep their wife happy.
BUT if you destroy the nuclear family and convince millions of people NOT to have children then why in the hell would they work hard?
It doesn't take a ton of money to support yourself if you're single.
I became a Passport Bro in 2017 and moved to SE Asia to escape the high rents in America.
More people are just leaving America altogether so they can work less and reduce their cost of living.
The only way to convince people to go back to work is to have more children.
4. The average American male cannot find a wife or GF
I'm shocked to see so many rich and good looking American men dating single mothers in the United States.
What's sad is that the average American guy cannot find a wife or girlfriend. He can barely get 1 single date without getting flaked on!
So many men have just given up on having a family and prefer to live in their mom's basement or just sleep in their car.
What's the motivation for the average man to work hard and pay MORE taxes if he has zero chance in passing on his legacy?
The billionaire class can't expect American guys to contribute all of their time and energy for nothing in return but the US dollar that's rapidly losing its value.
A lot of smart American guys are working less and buying Bitcoin. It's possible to retire on Bitcoin after a few years of stacking sats so you don't have to work for someone else until you're old and gray.

5. AI will Eliminate Millions of Jobs Anyway
Billionaires like Elon Musk want to replace the average American worker with robots anyway so why stress over a boring 9 to 5 job that makes someone else rich?
We are in the Age of Aqarius now and that means a lot will change over the next few decades.
AI will eliminate millions of service jobs and leave millions of Americans desperate for food and shelter.
I understand why millions of young adults don't want to work in a fast growing AI economy.
Why work hard now if you'll be fired and replaced by Tesla Optimus Bot in a few years?
Always Follow The Money
The Billionaire class created this mess with their insatiable greed and lack of humanity. It started in America and will soon spread around the world.
Tell Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, The Walton Family, and all of the people that got rich off the Average American to pay a living wage for a family of 5!
That's right. Every American should earn AT LEAST $35 PER HOUR because that's what it takes to support a wife and 2 to 3 children.
More women could stay at home with their children and watch them grow instead of wasting time at a cold, heartless corporate office.
More men would feel proud and work harder if they knew they had a wife and kids who depended on them.
Incentives matter! Don't expect Americans to work for low wages while Wall Street companies make record profits!
You get what you pay for.
