He was born on August 16th, 1986 in Washington, DC USA.

He grew up in Washington, DC and attended Georgetown Day School in Northwest DC. After high school, he studied economics at Dartmouth College and played NCAA Division 1 soccer for Dartmouth Big Green.

He helped Dartmouth College win the 2005 Men's Ivy League Soccer Title and earn an automatic bid to the 2005 NCAA Division 1 Men's Soccer Tournament.

Upon competing his studies, he pursued a career in online media publishing after the 2008/09 Global Financial Collapse.

Online Publishing Career

His first website, Investor Trip, was an investment & finance content website launched in 2006 that generated millions of pageviews since its debut. Tarik sold InvestorTrip.com in April 2024 for an undisclosed 5 figure sum in USD to focus on his personal website.

He also publishes a travel related blog geared towards men of color called Expat Kings.

Cryptocurrency

He began his crypto journey back in 2018 when he made his purchase cryptocurrency purchase: Ripple (XRP). It wasn't until 2019 that he discovered the usefulness of Bitcoin (BTC) and decided to adopt a Bitcoin Standard to preserve his purchasing power.

Hobbies

His hobbies include making videos, traveling, reading, stock trading, and spending time with his son.

Personal Life

He has 3 children and currently lives in SE Asia as a digital nomad aka Passport Bro. He is related to the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Bronze Medalist in the 110 meter hurdles, Jack Pierce.
